Applies principles of accounting to bookkeeping/accounting transactions, prepares financial reports and enters information into QuickBooks as well as performs the following essential duties and responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

To succeed at this position, and individual must be able to perform each of the above essential duties. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and /or ability required.

Degree (BA/BS/AA) in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. PC skills required, QuickBooks experience a MUST, experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).

Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common business and technical journals, financial reports ad legal documents, comprehend procedures and flows of accounting and effectively present information to supervisors.

Ability to define problems collects date, establish facts, and draw conclusions. Interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables, must be detail oriented and create and follow procedures, organize and maintain numerous client details.

Brokers Career Opportunities

Business Brokers - Sales

Match buyers and sellers of small companies (up to $50M revenue). Work with attorneys and accountants to facilitate the sale. Requires motivated problem solver. Sales, financial or business background desirable but not essential. Complete training and mentor program are provided.

This is a commission-only position. Candidates must demonstrate an ability to support themselves during the start-up phase, generally four to six months.
